Exercises To Rejuvenate Your Energy

A couple months ago I worked with a person who had started an exercise routine to help cope with the extreme stress of going through a divorce, a full-time job and a full-time higher education degree program.

He told me he was in the best physical shape he’s ever been in for his entire life, but he was always tired and having a hard time focusing on anything.

He did the right thing in making a choice to exercise, but the amount of time he was dedicating to this type of demanding exercise was having an opposite effect from what he intended.

Instead of helping him, he was overdoing it and contributing to the deterioration of his physical and emotional health.

I agree that there’s a time and place for demanding exercises, but too much exercise can lead to energy depletion.

Energy depletion from exercise

At first this man didn’t want to believe that his exercise regimen was hurting him because his friend, whom he described as “a really good trainer,” told him that it was okay to work out as much as he was.

The reality is that there’s no such thing as a one-glove-fits all approach to exercise. For example, one hour of demanding exercise can make one person feel great and lead to another’s death or severe injury. We must remember that our individual needs are all unique.

Using the bioenergetic (muscle testing) technique I implement for everybody at our healing center, we determined this man should work out less, which he did. He reported back saying he immediately felt a million times better when he decreased his exercise program.

There is a popular saying “use it or lose it,” and that’s true about our bodies when it comes to exercise. It impacts our immune system, stamina, strength, flexibility, weight control, emotional intelligence, and overall quality of life.

So how do we do exercise without hurting ourselves?

Internal rejuvenating exercises

The fact is that there are many types of exercises. Centuries ago our ancestors discovered superior forms of exercises that are safe and doable by everybody.

They realized that if our focus was on external exercises , for example, sports, martial arts, body building, yoga, aerobics, dance and others that emphasize external figure, then without a doubt we also need to do internal exercises.

Internal exercises are different in that the focus is on our thinking, breathing and movement.

By doing internal exercises the ancients determined that we can forget about doing external exercises because internal exercises revitalize our physiological and mental functions.

Internal exercises are superior because they can be done by anyone virtually anywhere. They help us feel younger, fresher, and livelier by strengthening the internal organ systems (heart, liver, kidneys, digestive, etc.) in ways that are different from external exercises.

Regardless of what condition you may or may not have, you must always think about your optimal function.
